U2 in Concert

all seasons in one day 30 °C

After it had been raining like I've never seen before all morning, the afternoon was sunshine and blue skies all the way! I laid out on the roof terrace with a cheeky beer and trashy mag to make the most of the sun and my day off work.

About 5ish 4 of us made our way by train to the Telstra Stadium, (the trains are free if you show a ticket for the stadium - bargain!). We got a good place near the front. The concert was good - y'know, professional with flashing lights and stuff, but I thought Bono would play the crowd more. I did enjoy it and he played a lot of his old music too but I think his live performance days are over...sorry Bono.

The stadium was huge and holds 80,000, so is about the same size as Wembley. Coming out of the stadium, all the trees were lit up with fairy lights for xmas, so weird to see when it's so hot...
